DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is basically how i felt all day haha :) it is seriously THE coolest place on earth! any one who is every one should go there, it is just..... 1!!!!!!!!! yeah...
we first went on the finding nemo ride, where we got to ride on the EAC on a turtle shell haha, than we got extremely dizzy in the twilight zone and went on a cool rollercoaster before deciding to take it a bit slower to recover between rides as there was not much of a line at most places because of the weather, so we walked around to take in the sights and go to the other park with all the older disney things like pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones ect, we found the Hakkuna Matata restaurant to have a coffee and than went to be pirates, go on a run away train with indiana jones and get lost in the alice in wonderlands maze, we went on the tea cups and played laser shooting with buzz light year (i won both times) and than just do everything until it was dark enough for the light show at night, they do a big show with fireworks and lights on the big castle they have... and wow wowowowowow they do a fantastic job of it. it was well worth the wet feet and cold i now have to go there...
i dont have photos just yet but will put some on tonight when i have put them on the ipad :)
these last two days have consisted of nothing much as feeling pretty bad with head cold :( but will hopefully go see the notre dame tomorrow
see you all soon!!!!!

Paris!!!
So we had a very nice church service in Geneva in which we were personally greeted by the pastor and had a very entertaining children talk at the beginning illustrating how we are filled with the Holy Spirit by using a glove... it was actually very well illustrated and than we went out for lunch with the most of the congregation which was very nice :)
The next day (yesterday) we went on a very long train ride to Paris!!! our last stop. On the way my suitcase officially stopped agreeing to move by jarring one of the wheels and refusing to roll... it is all good now but can be a bit contrary when we need it to be good... :(
So... Paris, our first day we got there quite late and it was raining so dinner was all we had energy for and bed.
Today we went into the city, we saw the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, but didnt go up or get good photos as the weather only allowed us to see the first half of it and than clouds, but hopefully DV we will get good weather tomorrow and get to climb it, we are planning on meeting up with the boys from Rome that we met so it should be fun. The afternoon consisted of doing nothing and watching YouTube on free wifi that we found as Camille had a headache and the weather was pretty bad... but we have a few days here before we have to go home so we just taking it as it comes and it is pretty relaxing :)

Geneva
So i have missed a day of two of telling you wonderful people of what i have been up to here in the Land of Europe, but we have been busy busy busy (haha not really...)
So yesterday we travelled to Geneva which took us an hour and a half and than we had to find our way to the hostel. Which wasnt hard, when we got there though apparently we booked for the wrong day so we had to ask if they had a bed for us for the night as well as the other nights we booked, which luckily they did. We put our stuff in our room and got out as quick as we could, we had enough of being there the time it took us to check in and stuff. They dont have very good customer service... took them just about an hour just to have the time to talk to us and check us in!! so we got out as quick as we could. We wondered around the city (very tiredly after 2 nights of not much sleep) and found a place to eat (because apparently in Switzerland they only have kitchens open at the 'proper' meal times) and somewhere to sit with WiFi to plan what we wanted to see... we sat there for a very good long while and than finally decided to make our way back to the hostel walking along the river/lake, have some dinner and go to bed.
So today we went into the actual city of Geneva and found the wall of reformation? (if thats what its called) which is actually very cool, we also found st Peters Cathedral and went up the towers and we went into the Musee' of Reformation which was also very cool. It was nice to actually see the history of OUR church and how it came about. We found the church that we will be going to tomorrow, it is in the Calvins Auditory which is where John Calvin use to teach, which insidently is where the Church of Scotland now is :) We than wondered back to the hostel, via some very nice sights (as i had the mother of all headaches...) and are now eating dinner and thinking of going to bed.. hopefully for a good nights sleep..
oh and we played some chess...
here are some photos, not ones from camilles camera because that would require effort that i dont have energy for but here you go any way :)
the photo of the eaten chicken was our lunch.. just by the way :)
love you all

Our day in Berne
Well after a night of listening to chainsaws (snoring... and by snoring i mean Dad on steroids snoring haha) we made our way out into the big wide world of Berne. We had decided to go to Sono... something.. a little town about 20 min on the train away but after realising how expensive public transport is we quickly settled on going to a museum :) it was suppose to be the Einstein museum but it wasn't.. well we didn't see any of him but we did see a lot of Qin and switzerland history so it was pretty good... we than got hungry and decided to try and find some food.. so back over the bridge we walked to find food... we found a thai restaurant (the only one with the kitchen still open as it was after lunchtime) and it was sooooooooooo good... the best thai food i have had in forever!! we than went for a walk through the markets and back to the hostel to do washing. And haven't moved since haha... we met another fellow Aussie, from Melbourne and have been hanging with her for the arvo...
Any way haven't put photos up so tomorrow will have to do. We are going to spend the morning in Berne and than go to Geneva in the arvo so should be good..
(oh might get my nose pierced ;))
love you xxx

The city on water.. Venice
So, the streets of venice are actually confusing.. so we were right in getting lost the first day. But if you have no where to be you cant be lost and that is what we ended up doing yesterday. We packed up my ipad and ventured to find a nice quite spot to sit and listen to our sermon.. well that is harder than you think, there are people everywhere in Venice.. quite literally, there is no where quite. We nearly gave up and went back to the hostel but than we found a nice quite restaurant to get a coffee and sit to listen to a really nice sermon from Rev Anderson about our Armour and how to wear it. Than we got some lunch and ventured the streets, we actually ended up doing a huge circle around the San Marco Square, where we are staying, so that was good, we knew where we were with out even trying haha. We had early night with a sermon before bed again.
So.. Today, we went out in search of one of camilles beloved art galleries again, and we found a Leonardo de Vince one, which was actually pretty fascinating.. than we went out again, in search of the gallery we were looking for, when we actually found it it was closed for the day.. ah well.. tomorrow is another day. We bought tickets off a guy selling tickets (lol) for a concert of Vivaldi and opera which was pretty cool, and the opera (although i hate opera) was actually very fascinating to listen to and to watch, the emotion that goes into the singing was very real. They even did the opera that mr bean does haha, thats all i could image..
So until next time.. some photos :)

Venezia
So after a sickening train ride and a little ferry ride we made it to Venice :) we hopped off the water bus and went off to find our hostel.. 'That shouldn't be too hard..' We thought.. Seeing as we had the exact instructions written out on how to get there.. Left right left at this thing right at that thing... Only thing is we didnt actually find any of the things we were suppose to turn at.. So with our suitcases on hand we walked.. And walked.. And walked.. Camille getting more and more grumpy at each turn.. So u left her with the suitcases to find someone to help us.. After getting instructions from people who spoke english (a fellow Aussie who lives here :)) we found our way eventually to the hostel.. I had never in my life been so happy to see a hostel :D haha.. So any way.. We made it and than went to find some dinner and than bed.. Another long day :)
So my iPad is weird and sometimes won't let us upload photos and is fussy on what photos we upload so here are a select few photos.. The first one is of our beautiful hostel keepers in Rome :) and the second of our roof in our room :)

our last day in Roma
So, last day in Rome and we decided to sleep in (again :)) so we didnt leave the hostel till about 11:30 ish and so didnt get into rome till about 12, than we wanted to go to the Catacombs so we had to go on another train (jam packed, its like playing a game of squashed sardines every time you get on the metro trains haha..) and a bus to get to them. and was it worth it, for those who dont know what they are (cause i didnt) it is the old burial/cemetery of the christians, and it is under ground, in tunnels. You have to go with a guide because other wise you will get lost and not find your way out. It was so interesting and ery walking through the tunnels with graves on either side of you, just in the walls. They are all empty now because of the Romans who started digging them up because they believed that they were buried with treasures, but soon stopped because that was not the case. But they are all empty all the same, the bodies were all moved to a mass grave. unfortunatly we were not allowed to take photos when we were under ground so not many photos for today but i have some from yesterday that i would like to share :)
enjoy
